The Communic8rs

As a kid, group work was never an issue for me as I like working in groups, that is if everyone does their part.  Working in groups takes basic communication skills, and in order for us to proceed with our project, we must verbally speak upon our thoughts and ideas. What I've noticed throughout the years is that in group work, it was a little more difficult to agree on one topic or idea within the group of people. I question if it had to do with maturity levels, with the people I was working with, or everything all together. In this current research assignment I am working on with my group, I found it easier to communicate my ideas with them and settle on something. I don't personally know them and this is the first time I am ever working on a project with them, so I found it a little more easier as we are all mature and on the same page. The seven of us successfully divided our project so each of us has a part in it. It is clear that the seven of us can take responsibility for our work and report back to the group when done. Although things had gotten messy and loud (the beginning of the project), we had managed to settle down and agree on one thing as a group. Luckily, there wasn't any negative feedback or backlash on anything one had to say, so it is clear that we all wanted to do great on our research assignment. Being responsible is a huge part when it comes to working with other people, and communicating your  results, ideas, thoughts, feelings is important to the group as a whole. This experience was overall a good one as now our group is a little more closer and now has a gist of what it's like to work together. We are able to rely on one another and trust each other for future assignments and all it took was communicating! Although I'm not sure how the others feel about their personal experience with our research assignment, this is my personal opinion. Shout out The Communic8rs!
